To Whom It May Concern:
I have had the pleasure engaging Shultz Engineering Group (SEG) for engineering services at our church campus since 2014. Over these past six years, SEG has been a tremendous engineering resource for us. They were willing to get dirty and trace out piping, ductwork, and controls and then demonstrate the ability to consolidate their findings into well-coordinated, cost-effective designs and solutions that contractors can understand and complete. These solutions resulted in better temperature and humidity control and lower utility bills. SEG’s responsiveness and communication has been a breath of fresh air. They typically answer the phone when I call and they make sure there is always a clear mutual understanding of where we are in the progress of a project.
Projects that SEG has performed for us include a renovation of our two-pipe hydronic system; implementation of a new strategy for building pressurization and temperature and humidity control of our Outreach Center; a new VAV system with a variable speed compressor; a renovation of a central chiller plant; and revised control strategies of our VAV systems.
Through their thorough investigations, tenacity in pursuing the best solutions, and clear communication throughout each project, I always have full confidence that SEG is working in the very best interests of Myers Park Presbyterian Church.
I would very highly recommend SEG to anyone looking for a high-quality mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering firm. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me through email at maycock@myersparkpres.org or telephone at (704) 927-1243.
Sincerely,
